Lamar University

Lamar University offers more than 150 programs of study that lead to bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. There are more than 100 student clubs, organizations, honor societies, fraternities and sororities from which to choose. The eight-story Mary and John Gray library includes resources that exceed 1,000,000 volumes and has electronic access to millions more. With an enrollment that exceeds 11,000 and continues to grow, Lamar continues to offer a personalized environment and a student/faculty ratio that focuses on individual success.

Lone Star College-Kingwood

Lone Star College-Kingwood, opened 1984, serves more than 7,200 students and has distinct offerings in interior design, respiratory care and dental hygiene.

Lone Star College-North Harris

Lone Star College-North Harris, opened 1973, serves more than 11,000 students and is the district's only source for automotive technology, health information technology, child development and family studies, paralegal studies, medical assisting and pharmacy technology programs.

University of Houston

Sam Houston State University

Sam Houston State University was founded in 1879 and has an enrollment of approximately 16,416 students. There are 79 undergraduate degree programs, 54 masters' programs, and 5 doctoral programs in Criminal Justice, Educational Leadership, Counselor Education, Clinical Psychology, and Reading.
