When asked about her teaching philosophy, she responded:

I believe that my students respond to the atmosphere that I create. I believe mistakes are learning experiences in disguise. It is OK to make mistakes.I also believe in differentiating instruction. Providing children with visuals, hands on activities and time to pair share are some of the ways to reach all students.I believe classroom environments are most effective when they are organized and positive, with high expectations for all students. It is my job to create such a learning environment.
