When asked about her teaching philosophy, she responded:

I strive to provide an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas. But my fundamental goal is to guide students on a journey that ultimately ends with learning something new that yields growth in the lives of my students. I hope to spark my students’ interest and to motivate them to maximize their fullest potential. I truly believe that every student can do something well. And it is my job is to help each one find his or her niche.
