Carver HS’ One-Act Play Company for “Miss Evers’ Boys.”


Carver High School and Davis HS theater companies recently competed in Bi-District and Area University Interscholastic League (UIL) One-Act Play Meets. The Aldine ISD students once again showed off their acting chops. 

This is the eighth consecutive year Carver HS has made an Area appearance. The troupe also received first place overall at both Bi-district and Area. The company from the magnet school advanced to the UIL Regional Meet.

Davis HS did not advance to regionals but the company did earn honors at Bi-District.

The Carver Panthers will compete at the Regional Meet set for April 14 at University High School in Waco, TX. The contest starts at 1:30 p.m.

Individuals interested in seeing the school’s performance can attend. The cost of admission is $10.
