Eagles advance to 3rd round of Class 6A playoffs
The Eisenhower Eagles are moving on in the Class 6A boys basketball playoffs.
For the second consecutive year, coach James Johnson’s team has advanced to the third round of the playoffs. On Friday, Feb. 22, the Eagles defeated Langham Creek, 65-58 in second-round play.
Eisenhower will face Klein Forest on Tuesday night (Feb. 26) at 8 p.m. at Coleman Fieldhouse in Spring Branch.
With the win over Langham Creek, Eisenhower improved to 28-6 on the season. Klein Forest defeated Cypress Spring, 78-56, to advance to take on the Eagles.
