The Aldine Independent School District is hosting its fourth annual Back-to-School Family Engagement Expo. This FREE event is open to families in Aldine ISD with children in prekindergarten to high school.
The Expo is set for Saturday, July 27 at the M.O. Campbell Educational Center (1865 Aldine Bender Rd.) from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event is a partnership with Congresswoman Sylvia García and BakerRipley.
A Back-to-School State of Mind
[ul class=”list list-search”] [li]Learn about programs and services that promote academic success and prepare students for college and career.[/li] [li]Learn how to help increase your child’s literacy skills and college readiness. [/li][/ul][ul class=”list list-search”] [li]Learn about the district’s school choice options — Magnet Schools, International Baccalaureate® Schools, Victory Early College High School, Blanson Career and Technical Education High Schools, and Avalos Pathways in Technology Early College High (P-TECH) School[/li] [li] Free immunizations (while supplies last) — To qualify, parents must bring their child’s immunization record with them. [/li][ul class=”list list-search”] [li]Low-cost school physicals for athletes and band students ($10.00 cash only).[/li][/ul][ul class=”list list-search”] [li]There will also be door prizes and refreshments.[/li][/ul]

Families that bring children can take advantage of the free daycare the Expo is offering for children in prekindergarten through fifth grade. Please be sure to register for childcare online (click here) by July 15.
