Office of Communications
The office of communications serves as the communication link for Aldine ISD. The department’s staff promotes the district’s students, staff and programs by disseminating news releases, photography and videos to local media outlets. In addition, it assists in providing content on the district’s web site. The department also produces external and internal newsletters and disseminates them to the district’s various stakeholders.
In addition, the department oversees and handles all media requests with Houston’s media outlets. The department also translates stories from English to Spanish and organizes a number of district-wide special events throughout the year.
When the Texas Legislature is in session, the department monitors pending legislation that will have an impact on education.
The department also assists the Aldine Education Foundation and works closely with the district’s business partners.
