Aldine ISD to Host Community Meetings in April, May

Aldine ISD has planned a series of community meetings to celebrate student success and highlight campus initiatives and programs. Superintendent Dr. LaTonya M. Goffney will also share an overview of district priorities, discuss plans for the 2019-20 school year and take questions from parents and community members in attendance.

The meetings will be held at six of the district’s high school campuses beginning April 23 at MacArthur High School. The last meeting is planned for May 16 at Eisenhower High School.

Parents with students who attend elementary and middle schools that feed into the respective high schools are encouraged to attend. However, families may also attend any meeting that is most convenient to them.

Each meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. Refreshments and child care will be available.

The dates and locations of the six meetings are:

  • Tuesday, April 23 — MacArthur HS, 4400 Aldine Mail Rte. Rd., Houston, TX 77039
  • Thursday, April 25 — Nimitz HS, 2005 W.W. Thorne Dr., Houston, TX 77073
  • Tuesday, April 30 — Davis HS, 12525 Ella Blvd., Houston, TX 77067
  • Thursday, May 2 — Aldine HS, 11101 Airline Dr., Houston, TX 77037
  • Tuesday, May 7 — Carver HS, 2100 S. Victory St., Houston, TX 77088
  • Thursday, May 16 — Eisenhower HS, 7922 Antoine Dr., Houston, TX 77088
