Lewis Middle School teacher Lionel Taylor is making a name, or rather a voice, for himself on NBC’s “The Voice.”

Taylor, whose artist name on the signing competition show is Shawn Sounds, will be looking to land a spot on the “Top 24” on Monday night (April 15), but he needs your help.

He is asking that his Aldine ISD family tune in on Monday night to watch him compete as part of Team John Legend.

“Moving forward, the producers will be tallying votes and I need as many as I can get in order to make it to the “Top 24,” Taylor said. “I’d be most grateful if my Aldine family gets behind me to vote on April 15 or April 22.”

Voting takes place on the official ‘The Voice” app and the official NBC website (www.nbc.com). Individuals can vote up to 10 times on each platform (20 times total).
