Twenty-two AISD student-athletes sign national letters of intent

Twenty-two Aldine ISD student-athletes signed national letters of intent during National Signing Day ceremonies held at their respective schools on Wednesday, Feb. 6. The student-athletes signed with schools in Texas and across the country.

AISD had three sign with Division 1 schools. Eisenhower High School linebacker Tyrique Matthews signed with Texas Tech, while Davis High defensive back Reggie Ellis signed with the University of Tulsa and Davis High linebacker Jonzell Prudhomme signed with Army.

In December, Aldine High running back Jacorey Howard signed with Texas Southern University. For a complete list of where all AISD seniors signed, please see pictures below.

Seven Davis student-athletes sign national letters of intent

Seven Davis High School student-athletes signed national letters of intent on Wednesday, Feb. 6 during a National Signing Day ceremony at the school. Two MacArthur student-athletes sign national letters of intent

Two MacArthur High School student-athletes signed national letters of intent on Wednesday, Feb. 6 during a National Signing Day ceremony held in their honor. The two who signed were Saul Hernandez, a defensive end who signed with McPherson College, and quarterback/safety Armando Ordenana who signed with Wayland Baptist University. Ordenana will also play baseball at Wayland Baptist. Pictured with the two student-athletes are MacArthur High Principal Heather Peterson, head football coach Wayne Crawford and members of the MacArthur High School athletic staff.
